About the Role

To support the continued growth and success of our business, BYD UK is seeking a motivated HR Intern to join our dynamic and international team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for people, innovation, and a proactive mindset. As an HR Intern, you will provide administrative and operational support to the Overseas HR Department, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of human resources functions.

Location: Uxbridge, London (Office-Based)

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Administration

Assist in managing employee records, including sick leave, holiday, and expense reimbursement processes. Support onboarding activities by preparing new hire documentation and tracking onboarding progress. Coordinate employee training sessions and monitor training completion. Assist with employee visa applications, work permits, and internal transfers where required. Maintain HR trackers, reports, and documentation to support departmental activities. Provide general administrative support across a variety of HR functions.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; ability to quickly learn HR systems and software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. A collaborative team player with a positive and proactive attitude. Previous HR experience Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese. Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
