Blackmont Consulting is a student-run organization that provides free advisory services to NGOs, NPOs, and start-ups. The team applies rigorous analysis to help mission-driven organizations achieve practical results with measurable impact. Role Description

This remote internship role as a Human Resources Intern offers hands-on experience supporting HR activities within a student-led consulting environment. The intern will assist with HR administration, including maintaining personnel records, organizing documentation, and helping ensure compliance with internal guidelines and HR policies.

Day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Supporting HR management processes
  • Contributing to the design and communication of employee benefits
  • Helping coordinate onboarding and engagement initiatives for team members

The intern will collaborate with different project teams, participate in virtual meetings, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the overall intern and consultant experience at Blackmont.

This is an internship role with a focus on learning, professional development, and meaningful contribution to the organization’s people operations.

Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) principles and interest in people operations.
  • Skills in HR Management and Personnel Management to support day-to-day HR processes and team coordination.
  • Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits to assist in drafting, updating, and communicating HR-related guidelines.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills in a remote work setting.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in diverse, international student teams.
  • Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, online communication platforms).
  • Current student or recent graduate in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to social impact, consulting, or nonprofit work is an advantage.
