The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join William Grant & Sons and play a key role in supporting our Operational Business Unit. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this is a high-impact role where you will work closely with leaders to drive organisational effectiveness, build leadership capability, and support the delivery of a high-performing, engaged workforce. You will operate at the heart of the business, providing HR insight and practical solutions to complex people challenges.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Act as a trusted HR partner to senior leaders, providing practical HR guidance on organisational and people matters
- Partner with leaders to anticipate and resolve complex challenges, building leadership capability and driving effective, data-driven decision-making
- Enable the development of a high-performing organisation through talent, succession and performance management activities
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes to secure high-quality talent aligned to business needs
- Support organisational change and HR projects that directly impact business performance and culture
- Provide expertise and oversight on complex employee relations matters, guiding leaders to achieve effective, timely and balanced resolutions, driving fair and consistent outcomes and minimising business risk
- Ensure the consistent and effective application of HR policies, processes and best practice across the business

About You
We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment.
You will bring:
- Proven HR generalist experience, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Strong experience partnering with and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- The ability to translate business priorities into practical, effective people solutions
- Confidence in managing complex organisational and employee relations issues
- Strong coaching capability, with a focus on building leadership effectiveness
- A data-led and analytical approach to decision-making, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities,ferably with Employee Forums experience in complex operational environments
