About the Role

Our client, a highly regarded professional services consultancy, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its collaborative and people-focused HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and enjoys building strong relationships across all levels of the business. Previous line management experience is essential, as you'll play a key role in leading, developing, and mentoring members of the HR team while partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver a first-class HR service.

You'll be an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, evolving business where no two days are the same. You are adaptable, resilient, and comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining a calm and solutions-focused approach.

  • Previous experience in a broad HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role.
  • Proven line management experience, with a genuine passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing others. This is an essential requirement.
  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters with confidence, discretion, and empathy.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence, with the ability to build trust, read situations effectively, and navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism and care.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills—you're someone who quickly establishes credibility and partners effectively with colleagues and leaders at every level.
  • The confidence to influence, challenge, and support stakeholders while balancing commercial objectives with a people-first approach.
  • A proactive, flexible, and resilient mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification is highly desirable.
  • Experience within consultancy or another professional services environment.
