Role Description
This is a part-time Human Resources Manager role based in Maidstone, offered on a hybrid basis with some work-from-home flexibility. The Human Resources Manager will oversee core HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding, performance management processes, and employee relations.

- Advising managers on HR policies
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Maintaining accurate HR records and systems
- Designing and implementing training and development initiatives
- Supporting compensation and benefits administration
- Contributing to HR strategies that reinforce the firm’s values and meritocratic culture
The Human Resources Manager will collaborate closely with leadership to support workforce planning and foster an inclusive, high-performing environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources management, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, UK employment law, and best practices in compliance and risk management.
- Proficiency in HR systems and tools, with the ability to maintain accurate records and analyze HR data.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships.
- Experience designing and delivering training, performance management, and development programs.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CIPD qualification or progress toward it is highly beneficial.
- Alignment with Packaging Holdings’ values of integrity, transparency, respect, and results orientation, with prior experience in financial services or packaging industries considered an advantage.
