Summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced HR Operations and Business Partner Manager to lead HR operations and provide strategic people support for our UK workforce. This role will manage the full employee lifecycle across permanent, contract, and Employer of Record employees while ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and organizational standards. The successful candidate will partner closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to improve workforce effectiveness, employee experience, HR governance, and operational efficiency. This position requires strong UK employment law knowledge, contract workforce experience, and advanced proficiency with Workday.

Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, contract administration, transfers, extensions, renewals, and offboarding.
  • Oversee HR services for permanent employees, contract staff, and Employer of Record employees while ensuring compliance with statutory, organizational, and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employment documentation, employee records, contracts, and HR transactions while protecting data integrity within Workday.
  • Partner with business leaders to align HR programs with business objectives and provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Lead performance management, talent management, succession planning, learning and development, and employee development initiatives.
  • Coach managers on employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, people management, HR policies, and employment best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, including the Employment Rights Act, Equality Act 2010, Working Time Regulations, Agency Workers Regulations, Right to Work requirements, UK GDPR, National Minimum Wage regulations, and IR35.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Compliance, business leaders, and external EOR partners to deliver efficient and compliant workforce services.
  • Support HR reporting, audits, governance activities, and workforce analytics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and enable informed business decisions.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies, standard operating procedures, Workday workflows, and service-delivery practices.

Requirements

  • Significant HR operations and HR business partnering experience supporting employees in the United Kingdom.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations, Right to Work requirements, UK GDPR, IR35, and Agency Workers Regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR operations for permanent employees, contract workers, and Employer of Record populations.
  • Advanced experience using Workday to manage employee data, HR transactions, reporting, workflows, and data-quality controls.
  • Proven ability to advise managers on performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances, workforce planning, and organizational change.
  • Experience partnering with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and external workforce-management providers.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce metrics, identify operational risks, and recommend practical HR interventions.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, stakeholder-management, and process-improvement capabilities.
