Company Description

Ecocel Services Ltd supplies specialised parts and services for wind turbines across the UK and Ireland. The company works closely with Scottish Power Renewables and other wind farm owners, supporting Vestas, Gamesa, Siemens, Nordex and Senvion wind turbine models. Ecocel focuses on reliability, safety, and technical excellence to support renewable energy operations. The company has recently partnered with the Hine Group, strengthening its capabilities and service offering in the wind energy sector. Team members join a growing organisation contributing directly to sustainable energy solutions.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Manager role based in Kilwinning. The Human Resources Manager will oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and offboarding for staff working in both office and field-based roles. The Human Resources Manager will partner with leadership to foster an inclusive, safety-focused culture aligned with the company’s focus on renewable energy and technical services.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Human Resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR policies, and best practices in a technical, engineering, or field-based environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Experience with HR information systems (HRIS), payroll coordination, and HR reporting or analytics.
  • Ability to design and deliver training, support employee development, and contribute to culture and engagement initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • CIPD qualification or working toward CIPD accreditation is preferred.
  • Experience in the renewable energy, utilities, or industrial services sector is an advantage.
