About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and strategic HR Manager to lead our internal HR department and champion our organisational culture. Managing a dedicated HR team, you will oversee the full employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition and onboarding to employee relations and UK payroll management.
This is a pivotal, multifaceted role that seamlessly combines high-level strategic partnership with senior management and hands-on operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute modern HR strategies aligned with our business growth plans; act as a trusted advisor and provide strategic support to senior leadership.
- Team & Culture Management: Supervise, mentor, and inspire the internal HR team. Lead employee engagement initiatives and champion staff wellbeing programs across all business units.
- Systems & Data: Maintain and optimise our HRIS/ATS databases (Workday, Taleo, PeopleSoft). Conduct regular process audits and analyse HR metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Compliance & Payroll: Oversee complex employee relations (ER) cases, ensure strict adherence to UK employment law, and accurately manage UK payroll processes (including pensions and statutory payments).

What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven HR management experience, ideally within a corporate or multi-site environment.
- Qualifications: CIPD Level 7 qualification is essential for this role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with enterprise-level HRIS platforms and a robust, up-to-date working knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
- Attributes: An approachable, highly confidential, and exceptionally organised leader with outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
