Soudal UK HR Manager
Soudal is Europe's largest independent producer of mastics, adhesives, and PU foams for both the professional and private user. Soudal (UK) Ltd, one of its main subsidiaries with a turnover of over £90 million and close to 90 staff, located in Tamworth, is looking for an HR Manager reporting to the Finance Manager and dotted to the Group HR Director (HQ).
About the Role
You are responsible for supporting and further developing the HR function within Soudal UK, with a strong focus on recruitment, talent acquisition, and day-to-day HR support. You act as a business partner to local management and employees, while also contributing to Group HR initiatives and international HR projects.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment processes for the UK organisation.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
- Actively support the Global Talent Acquisition team on international recruitment projects.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees on day-to-day HR matters.
- Support employee relations topics and contribute to a constructive and compliant working environment.
- Contribute to employee development, engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with UK labour legislation and relevant HR requirements.
- Elements of office management / administration for the UK HQ
- Health & Safety responsibilities, liaising with an external H&S provider to maintain compliance and a safe working environment for all employees.
- Participate in global HR projects, including the roll-out of employee engagement surveys and other Group HR initiatives.

Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience) with a sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- At least 5 years, preferably with a background in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Good understanding of HR processes and a strong motivation to further develop within a broad HR role.
- Willingness to travel to Turnhout, Belgium occasionally.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, and well organized, with the ability to work independently.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate in an international environment.
- ICT proficiency and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills in English; additional languages are an asset.

This is an onsite role, the successful candidate will be within commuting distance of the Soudal UK offices in Tamworth (B77 5PN).
