HR Manager | Consulting

Location: London (2 days WFH)
Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 DOE + discretionary bonus

Our client, a highly regarded consultancy, is looking to hire an HR Manager to join its close-knit HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR candidate who is keen to join a people-focused environment. With line management responsibility, you’ll play a key role in supporting and developing the HR team while partnering with managers across the business to provide pragmatic, commercial-minded HR advice.

About the Role

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters across the business
  • Oversee HR operations throughout the full employee lifecycle
  • Maintain, review, and communicate HR policies and procedures
  • Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports to support their ongoing growth
  • Support annual performance, salary, and bonus review processes
  • Lead HR projects and drive continuous process improvements
  • Partner with the wider business on employee engagement, wellbeing, culture, and retention initiatives

About You

  • Previous experience in a broad HR Manager position
  • Strong interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence
  • A genuine passion for developing and supporting others
  • Calm, empathetic, and confident when managing sensitive situations
  • Able to balance commercial considerations with a people-first approach
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) is highly desirable
  • Experience within a consultancy or similarly fast-paced professional services environment would be advantageous
