  • £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (salary structured relative to experience)

Hours & Schedule

Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00


The Opportunity

Are you an HR leader with a results-driven mindset, thriving in dynamic, high-volume production environments? Halls of Scotland is growing—and we need your strategic people-focused expertise to take our HR function forward as we expand our Prestwick site.

This role is a hands-on, high-impact challenge for an HR professional who excels under pressure and can drive meaningful change in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.

🔹 Preferred but not essential: Experience within food manufacturing—what matters most is proving success in a high-headcount production operation.


Key Responsibilities & Strategic Priorities

Your role will be more than operational—you’ll shape the future of our HR strategy to support expansion. Key areas include:

HR Systems & Process Excellence

  • Oversee HRIS optimisation (Tensor and Mitrefinch time & attendance systems) to ensure flawless data integrity and seamless payroll.
  • Drive compliance and adherence to personnel records.

Talent Development & Leadership

  • Launch and scale our newly established Personal Development Programme (via Clearview by One Advanced).
  • Collaborate with Group HR on custom training programmes to support employee growth in our expanding production teams.

Employee Relations & Workplace Culture

  • Act as the on-site authority for disciplinary actions, grievances, industrial relations, and employee welfare.
  • Champion fairness, transparency, and a positive workplace culture.

Performance & Retention

  • Lead the site-wide Performance and Development Review (PDR) cycle to enhance retention, morale, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with teams to align HR initiatives with business goals.

Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a dedicated on-site HR team.

What We’re Looking For

📌 Relevant Credentials & Experience

  • CIPD Level 7 (Advanced Diploma) in HR Management – highly preferred (candidates nearing this with equivalent experience will also be considered).
  • Minimum 5 years in HR management, with a strong focus on:
    • High-volume Manufacturing, FMCG, or logistics environments (experience in food production is a distinct advantage).
    • Industrial relations, including constructive engagement with trade unions.
    • HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) platforms (Tensor, Mitrefinch, or comparable experience).
