Company Description
The Kite Academy Trust is a Multi Academy Trust dedicated to ensuring every pupil is happy, healthy, and able to achieve academic excellence while contributing positively to their communities. Formed in October 2015, the Trust began with five local, good and outstanding schools united to provide the best possible experience for children, families, and staff. It has grown into a community of nine academies, including six primaries, three infant schools, and four nursery provisions across the Frimley, Mytchett, Ash Vale, Farnborough, and Farnham areas. Collaboration across all levels of the Trust is central to its success, fostering a “one Kite team” culture. The Trust also offers specialist provision for children with specific communication needs through the COIN Centre at The Grove Primary Academy.
Role Description
The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London, responsible for leading and delivering HR services across The Kite Academy Trust. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Managing recruitment and onboarding processes
- Supporting performance management and professional development
- Overseeing employee relations, absence management, and wellbeing initiatives
- Ensuring HR policies and procedures are compliant, inclusive, and aligned with Trust values
- Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting payroll and benefits administration

The role involves:
- Partnering with senior leaders and academy staff to provide practical HR advice
- Driving workforce planning
- Supporting change management and organizational development
- Contributing to HR projects
- Continuous process improvement
- Promoting a positive, collaborative working culture across all academies
Qualifications
- Strong HR generalist skills across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and workforce planning.
- Experience in policy development, compliance with employment legislation, and application of best-practice HR processes.
- Proficiency in HR administration, HRIS or HR databases, and maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, use sound judgment, and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Experience in the education sector or multi-site organizations is beneficial.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards it) and relevant experience in HR management or senior HR advisory roles.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding, with an understanding of safer recruitment practices.
