This is a role within business facing HR where you will be the critical link between the business HR teams and the Centres of Expertise to deliver the cyclical operational HR activities. You will forge strong relationships across the business and also be an integral part of the wider CoE network, taking the lead in ensuring the smooth execution of our high-profile HR activity throughout the year.

  • Responsible for execution and delivery of the key cyclical talent activities across the HR calendar at the business line level, setting the business line and HRBPs up for success to ensure central outputs are met.
  • Identifying risks and challenges as you go through and working with the appropriate teams to solve these.
  • Setting the local timeline for delivery against the central plans and coordinating across the business lines to keep activities on track, supporting the HR Director in the preparation of Executive level briefing papers and summaries.
  • Through delivery of the key HR activities, such as Reward, our promotion processes, talent reviews and succession planning, you will be providing data and insights to the business facing HR team, as well as at the business line level, to facilitate decisions that support our strategic objectives.
  • Manage the creation and delivery of any business line specific reporting requirements (e.g. for governance board, ops execs, partner reports).
  • Produce relevant people insight reports from the available MI and work closely with HRBPs to provide meaningful narrative - including measuring success and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Apply an inclusion and wellbeing mindset at all times, raising awareness of inclusion and wellbeing considerations and activating I&W strategy throughout delivery of all people activities.
  • Work closely with the HR Director and HRBPs to support with Business line specific projects that compliment the overall people plan.

Essential

  • Delivery-focused with a customer centric mindset, employee experience is at the heart of everything you do
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with ability to flex style appropriately to a variety of stakeholder groups across two very different business lines
  • Data driven with the ability to interpret data to tell a story, spot trends and make considered decisions quickly and with confidence.
  • Logical and methodical in your approach with an eye on the detail whilst maintaining progress against an agreed timeline.
  • Ability to take the complex and break it down into manageable actions that will achieve the desired outputs.

Desirable

  • Experience operating at Manager level with a deep working HR generalist or HR operations knowledge.
  • Experience working in a highly commercial, fast-paced, complex and transformative environment, ideally (not essentially), within Financial Services or Regulated environment.
  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is beneficial though not required
  • Project management experience
