- Salary: £57,994–£86,916 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)
- Working Pattern: On-site, 5 days a week (1.5 days on Fridays available)

Your Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with management to align HR initiatives with business goals, prioritising impactful projects.
- Consult on and refine HR policies to foster employee well-being, retention, and performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor on compensation, benefits, and inclusive culture-building strategies.
Data-Driven Impact
- Analyse HR metrics (saturation, attrition, engagement) to identify trends and suggest actionable solutions.
- Highlight external benchmarks within high-energy manufacturing environments to inform local practices.

Talent & Culture Champion
- Oversee an HR team to implement succession plans, onboarding, and skill development tailored to a high-visibility operation.
- Represent EPD in global stakeholders’ engagements, bringing best practice from diverse regions.
Operational Excellence
- Direct Larne’s HR initiatives, ensuring compliance with regional employment laws, health & safety, and union policies where applicable.
- Resolve employee conflict, upholding both legal duties and a “respected work force” ethos.
Essential Requirements
Leadership & Team Development
- Proven ability to lead functional teams towards strategic HR objectives.
- Expertise in coaching managers, shaping workplace behavior, and performance management, with demonstrated results.
- Adaptability in leadership style to support evolving team composition and operational needs.
Business Acumen
- Strong grasp of CPM processes, financial fundamentals, and interdepartmental dependencies.
- Capable of alienating complex trade-offs to prioritise resources and operational levers.
Strategic Decision-Making & Problem-Solving
- Critical thinking to recognise risks and opportunities, countered with clear recommendations.
- Thorough analysis of inputs (data, stakeholder buy-in, precedents) before proposing decision paths.
Influencing & Communication
- Expertise in extracting actionable insights through strategic conversations, identifying both risks and positives.
- Proven pitching skills, from engaging leadership to delicate stakeholder dialogues.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Knowledge of employment laws, negotiated agreements, and union functioning.
- Experience proactively managing relations, including mitigating conflict and ensuring fairness at all levels.
- Data-driven focus on turnover analysis and benchmarking against industry norms.
Talent Acquisition & Development
- Experience designing recruitment, retention, and development programmes, measurable by both direct hire performance and indirect engagement benefits.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree in Human Resources; or, equivalency demonstrated by significant professional accomplishment.
- Familiarity with global workforce policies, especially diversity, equity, and inclusion frameworks.
- Technical fluency in HRIS tools, workplace preparedness analytics, and digital transformation enablers.
