We are supporting a well-regarded professional services organisation, known for its sustainable growth and innovative approach. They are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR team and allow the Executive Director to focus on broader strategic responsibilities.

The Role
This is not a traditional HR Manager role. The successful candidate will effectively lead the day-to-day HR function, focusing on significant operational leadership across the full employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include managing complex employee relations, improving HR operations and systems, and working closely with Finance on payroll governance. You'll provide commercially balanced advice, challenge senior stakeholders, and connect people decisions to business performance and risk.
Essential Skills
- Strong operational HR leadership across the employee lifecycle
- Experience managing complex employee relations and providing commercially balanced advice
- Proven track record of improving HR operations, systems, and reporting
- Experience managing and developing an HR team
- Confidence advising and constructively challenging senior stakeholders
- Commercial awareness and ability to align HR with business performance and risk
- Ideally, experience in a professional services or knowledge-based business
