HR Operations Coordinator / Location: Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 8BU
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Working Pattern: Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working from home

We are looking for an organised and detail-focused HR Operations Coordinator to join our team and support the smooth running of our day-to-day HR operations.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in HR administration or HR operations who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment.
You will support a wide range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle, helping to manage employee queries, maintain accurate records, support compliance processes and ensure our HR services are delivered to a high standard. Alongside managing day-to-day administration, you will also have the opportunity to identify improvements, support better ways of working and take ownership of key processes.

Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee Support
- Provide day-to-day HR operational support across the employee lifecycle.
- Manage and respond to employee and manager queries through the HR ticketing system.
- Process HR administration including absence updates, job changes, payroll queries and general employee requests.
- Maintain accurate employee records within Workday.
- Process HR documentation through systems such as Adobe Sign.
Compliance & Reporting
- Support Right to Work and DBS audit activity.
- Maintain accurate compliance records including visa tracking.
- Assist with HR reporting and data preparation.
- Support internal audits and ensure HR records remain accurate and compliant.
Systems & Process Improvement
- Complete regular data checks to ensure information within Workday remains accurate.
- Support HR system updates, testing and improvements.
- Help review and improve HR processes, documentation and ways of working.
- Identify recurring queries or issues and support solutions.

About You
You will be someone who enjoys organisation, accuracy and delivering a great service.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience within HR administration, HR operations or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills.
- Experience managing a busy workload and prioritising tasks effectively.
- Confidence handling confidential employee information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A process-driven approach with a willingness to improve how things are done.
- The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is proactive, motivated and willing to take ownership of their work.
