Human Resources Operations Manager
We’re working with an established organisation to appoint an experienced HR Operations Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll take ownership of HR operations, lead a small team, and partner closely with senior stakeholders to deliver a consistent, commercially focused people service across multiple locations.

The Role
You’ll be at the heart of the HR function, ensuring everything runs efficiently while supporting key business priorities.
Key areas include:
- Leading and developing the HR operations team to deliver a high-quality, responsive service
- Acting as a trusted advisor to managers on all people-related matters
- Driving end-to-end recruitment activity and improving hiring outcomes
- Supporting performance, talent, and succession planning processes
- Managing employee relations cases, including more complex issues
- Reviewing and improving HR processes, systems, and ways of working
- Supporting organisational change and workforce planning activity
- Partnering on reward, benchmarking, and benefits activity
- Ensuring compliance with employment law and internal standards

About You
- Proven experience in an HR Operations or Business Partnering role
- CIPD Level 5+ (or equivalent experience)
- Strong generalist HR expertise across ER, performance, and operations
- Experience leading or coaching HR teams
- Confident working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Practical, solutions-focused and highly organised
