About the Role
The Airedale Group, the leading market design, installation, and maintenance provider for commercial kitchens in the UK hospitality and food service industry, are recruiting a new People Partner on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). Reporting to the Group People Partner Lead, this role will play a key part in developing people-related strategies and initiatives that align with business strategy and transform organisational performance.

- Works with clients from initial design through to bespoke fabrication and installation
- Offers the complete end-to-end solution across the UK hospitality and food service industry
- Maintains long-standing relationships with multi-site brands and operates the largest body of professional maintenance engineers in the country
Key Responsibilities
With support from the Group People Partner Lead, the role requires collaboration between you and local leaders to align people strategies with business goals:
- Understand business priorities:
- Work with leaders to analyse business goals, market dynamics, operational priorities, and financial drivers
- Translate business strategy into organisational plans:
- Partner with the Wider People Team to craft integrated people and organisational strategies
- Expertise in Employment Relations (ER):
- Provide pragmatic advice on ER issues, workforce planning, leadership capability, and organisational effectiveness
- Assess and strengthen organisational capability to support future business strategy
- Data-driven decision-making:
- Use workforce analytics, business metrics, and diagnoses organisational issues through data, stakeholder insights, and performance indicators
- Talent Management:
- Develop talent strategies for succession planning, talent reviews, and high-potential development
- Leadership and change management:
- Build leadership capability through coaching, mental feedback, and development
- Partner with the Airedale Academy to implement learning and career development
- Organisational Culture:
- Champion culture that aligns with business values
- Support employee experience improvement via engagement interventions and culture diagnostics
- Mitigate People-related risks:
- Address inclusion, wellbeing, and employee relations practices
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policy, values, and governance practices
- Performance & Risk Management:
- Analyse trends (turnover, engagement, performance, diversity, productivity)
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS (PXD)
- Manage employee relations matters, performance issues, and workplace concerns

Requirements
Experience
- Must have experience in a similar People Partner position
- Expertise in UK Employment Legislation & statutory compliance
- Proficiency in HRIS (especially PXD Access People XD)
- Knowledge of handling complex ER cases
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- Advanced IT proficiency (Excel, Word, MS Office)
- Proven ability to collaborate, operational transformation, and change management
- Commercial awareness with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership mindset – strategic, forward-thinking, and influential
- Highly detail-oriented, with strong governance focus
Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Ideally, CIPD qualification (preferably experience equivalent)
