At Via, we're supporting a purpose-led organisation in the search for a People Partner to join their growing People team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to work closely with senior stakeholders, supporting a broad range of people initiatives including organisational development, workforce planning, employee relations and strategic people projects.

Salary: £40,000–£44,000 + benefits
Location: Remote (UK) with occasional travel to Birmingham, London or Cambridgeshire (2–3 times per month)

The Opportunity

You'll join a collaborative People team operating within a Centre of Excellence model, providing strategic and operational HR support across the organisation.

  • Working closely with a Senior People Partner, you'll build strong relationships with managers and leaders, helping them navigate people challenges, improve performance, and create an engaging workplace culture.
  • This role offers excellent variety, with exposure across employee relations, organisational development, workforce planning, change initiatives and wider people projects.

What You'll Be Doing

People Partnership & Stakeholder Support

  • Build strong relationships with managers and leaders to understand their people priorities and challenges
  • Provide proactive HR guidance and coaching across the business
  • Support managers with people-related decisions, performance conversations and employee matters
  • Act as a trusted partner, helping teams deliver effective people solutions

Employee Relations & Policy

  • Manage and resolve employee relations cases in a fair and consistent way
  • Support managers through complex conversations and challenging situations
  • Ensure HR policies are effectively implemented and embedded across the organisation
  • Provide guidance on best practice people processes

Organisational Development & Workforce Planning

  • Support organisational development initiatives that improve engagement, performance and culture
  • Contribute to workforce planning activities and future resource requirements
  • Work closely with recruitment teams to support effective workforce solutions
  • Help deliver initiatives that support business growth and transformation

People Projects & Improvement

  • Support the rollout of new people initiatives and ways of working
  • Use people data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to wider HR projects including engagement, inclusion and development programmes
  • Ensure projects are delivered effectively and create meaningful impact

TUPE & Change Support

  • Support TUPE activity, both incoming and outgoing
  • Assist with change management initiatives and organisational transitions
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of people changes

  • Previous experience working as an HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, People Partner or similar role
  • Strong generalist HR background with experience across employee relations, performance and policy
  • Experience partnering with managers and senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex organisation
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver impactful people solutions
  • A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within a large, customer-focused organisation
  • Exposure to TUPE processes and organisational change
  • Experience supporting workforce planning or organisational development initiatives
  • Experience using people data and insights to improve decision-making
