Human Rights and Responsible Sourcing Expert

Summary

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, great ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish.

The people here at Apple don't just create products — they create the kind of wonder that's revolutionized entire industries. It's the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading human rights and environmental efforts. Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it.

The Environment and Supply Chain Innovation Team

The Environment and Supply Chain Innovation team upholds Apple's values across our global supply chain. We're seeking a human rights lead for the EMEA region, focused on responsible materials sourcing and the nexus of environment and human rights. Sitting within Apple's Operations organization, this fast-paced role demands a working understanding of global supply chains and may expand to cover additional programs across our labor and human rights portfolio.

You'll be both a strategic thinker and a credible external voice — engaging governments, civil society, and multilateral bodies while partnering across Apple's cross-functional teams on practical, business-minded solutions.

Description

  • Serve as Apple's subject matter expert on human rights risks in upstream extractive materials and renewable energy supply chains, in alignment with international standards and Apple's Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • Integrate Just Transition principles into upstream sourcing strategy, including affected communities, worker transitions, and supply chain decarbonization.
  • Lead regulatory preparedness for the EU CSDDD and other emerging supply chain legislation; monitor the landscape and translate developments into actionable intelligence.
  • Assess policy, program, and documentation gaps against regulatory requirements and build roadmaps to address them, including deep-tier supply chains.
  • Represent Apple in industry working groups, multilateral forums, and standard-setting bodies.
  • Build relationships -- primarily in Europe -- with NGOs, civil society, think tanks, and private sector partners; identify opportunities to advance Apple's human rights vision publicly.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Government Affairs, Legal, Corporate Communications, Business Compliance, Procurement, and business teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
