Humanities/Geography Teacher

Teaching Tomorrow is working with a welcoming, OFSTED-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Biggleswade, who are looking to appoint a passionate and experienced Humanities/Geography teacher to join their team in the new academic year. This is a permanent position starting in September 2026 and is ideal for someone who nurtures and develops our students' geographical knowledge.

The Role:

  • Delivering high-quality Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Encouraging critical thinking and discussion in the classroom
  • Managing behaviour effectively and creating a positive learning atmosphere
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through regular testing and feedback.
  • Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and respect.
  • Uphold school policies and contribute to a positive school culture

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching one or more Humanities subjects
  • Be flexible, reliable, and confident in new classroom settings
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
