A leading provider of facilities and engineering services is looking for an HVAC Engineer to join its established team supporting a secure, mission-critical environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a technically diverse estate, maintaining essential HVAC systems that support critical operations.

The Role

As The HVAC Engineer, You'll

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault diagnosis across a range of HVAC systems.
  • Complete statutory inspections and compliance activities to ensure systems remain safe and operational.
  • Undertake minor installations and refurbishment works, interpreting technical drawings where required.
  • Maintain accurate digital maintenance records using tablet-based systems.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety legislation, including RAMS, COSHH and RIDDOR requirements.
  • Liaise with contractors, site stakeholders and colleagues to deliver high-quality engineering services.

Required

  • Participate in a 1-in-11 on-call rota, responding to emergency call-outs and supporting a range of multi-skilled maintenance issues when required.

To be successful in the role of HVAC Engineer, you'll bring:

  • City & Guilds Air Conditioning qualification (or equivalent).
  • F-Gas Category 1 certification.
  • Safe Handling of Refrigerants qualification.
  • Proven experience maintaining, repairing and fault-finding on commercial HVAC systems.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and statutory compliance.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • The Ability To Obtain Security Clearance (SC).

Desirable

  • Previous experience within secure or highly regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of JSP 375.
  • Health & Safety or First Aid qualifications.

Working Hours
