HVAC Engineer – Full-Time On-Site Role – Chessington

Role Description
The HVAC Engineer at Aspect is a full-time, on-site position based in Chessington. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial and industrial properties.
- Conducting diagnostics and fault-finding on HVAC equipment to identify and rectify issues efficiently.
- Performing routine servicing, safety checks, and performance inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Ensuring systems operate efficiently and reliably, aligning with Aspect’s quality standards.
- Responding promptly to both scheduled and reactive jobs, including priority outages.
- Documenting all work carried out in detail for internal records and client transparency.
- Liaising closely with the account management team to coordinate jobs and provide progress updates.
- Communicating clearly with customers on-site, addressing their concerns and explaining solutions professionally.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by reporting recurring issues, recommending upgrades, and adhering to Aspect’s health and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience
To excel in this role, the following qualifications and skills are essential:
Technical Knowledge & Experience
- Strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, covering installation, maintenance, and diagnostics.
- Experience with electrical components related to HVAC equipment, including reading technical drawings and schematics.
- In-depth understanding of safety and environmental regulations, including compliance with on-site working practices.
- Proven problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail when identifying and resolving faults.

Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with customers and coordinating with teams.
- Ability to work independently in the field, managing time efficiently and adapting to changing job demands.
- Capacity to document work accurately, maintaining clear and concise records.
Industry Certification
A recognized HVAC qualification is required, such as:
- NVQ
- City & Guilds certification
- Any equivalent mechanical engineering credentials
Additional Preference
- Full valid UK driving licence.
- Prior experience in commercial or corporate property environments.
