This position will report to H. B. McClure Company, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.

HB McClure is hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to support our Lancaster and Lancaster/York service territories.
Starting compensation is around $32/hour based on experience, plus a $2,500 hiring bonus for qualified technicians. Even better, our on-call rotation averages only about 2–3 times per year.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems
- Service equipment including RTUs, split systems, refrigeration systems, VRFs, boilers, chillers, and VAV systems
- Troubleshoot electrical and control circuits
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
- Work safely and independently while maintaining high quality workmanship
- Participate in an on-call rotation averaging only about 2–3 times per year

What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to safely perform job duties, understand technical documentation, and interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with electrical schematics, refrigeration practices, and control circuits
- Ability to work independently in the field
- EPA certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to safely work from ladders, lifts, and rooftops
