Puma Investments is seeking two Hybrid Business Development Managers to join their Business Development team. One role will cover the East Midlands region, while the other will cover East Anglia.

Puma Investments raises funds from various sources, including wealth managers and IFAs from large firms like SJP, Barclays Wealth, Evelyn Partners, and Cazenove, as well as regional players, small independents, execution-only brokers, and HNWs. They also collaborate with leading wrap platforms such as Fidelity, Aberdeen, M&G, and Transact.
Role Responsibilities
- Offering ongoing support and management to current and prospective clients
- Liaising with internal and external parties to ensure effective communication
- Handling telephone queries from financial intermediaries and taking appropriate action
- Responsibility for increasing fundraising through proactive measures like cold calling and agreed initiatives with the Head of Business Development
- Attending and speaking at roadshows and events, acting as an ambassador for Puma Investments
- Working closely with the Client Relations, Operations, and Marketing teams
- Gathering feedback via the adviser market to help develop new products and marketing campaigns
- Contributing to the delivery of regional, quarterly fundraising targets
Experience Required
- Proven experience in a sales role working with intermediaries (particularly IFAs), ideally in tax-efficient products
- Demonstrable client relationship management and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a meticulous approach to work
- Experience in working towards and exceeding targets and KPIs
- High-quality consultative sales skills and approach
- Ability to build and grow one's own bank of clients (advisers)
- The drive and attitude to excel in a sales-based environment while maintaining high levels of client services and integrity
- Previous experience of working with CRM systems (ideally Dynamics)
- Sound commercial knowledge
