Puma Investments is looking for two Hybrid Business Development Managers to join our Business Development team. One role will cover the East Midlands region, whilst the other will cover East Anglia.

Puma Investments raises funds from a variety of sources including wealth managers and IFAs from the very large including SJP, Barclays Wealth, Evelyn Partners, and Cazenove, through regional players to the very small independents, from execution-only brokers and from HNWs. We also work with leading wrap platforms including Fidelity, Aberdeen, M&G and Transact.

These roles have a hybrid focus of internal and external business development efforts and activity. Working as part of the Business Development team, they will assist in raising the profile of Puma Investments and its range of investment offers. The primary focus will be on developing existing and new relationships with wealth managers and IFAs.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Offering ongoing support and management to our clients (current and prospective)
  • Liaising with internal and external parties to ensure effective communication relating to inbound contact, requests for literature and investor information
  • Handling telephone queries from financial intermediaries and actioning as appropriate
  • Responsibility for helping to increase fundraising through proactive measures such as cold calling to arrange meetings and any initiatives agreed with the Head of Business Development
  • Attending and speaking at roadshows and events alongside and acting as an ambassador for the Puma Investments business
  • Working closely with the Client Relations, Operations (Client Onboarding and Fund Operations & Data), and Marketing team
  • Gathering of feedback via the adviser market to help develop new products and sales and marketing campaigns
  • Contributing to the delivery of regional, quarterly fundraising targets

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
