We are currently seeking passionate and motivated Hybrid Tutor Assessors to join our growing team.
Position Details
Role: Hybrid Tutor Assessor (Level 2/3)
Location: Hertfordshire (Watford, St Albans)
Working Pattern: Hybrid (Online delivery with face-to-face learner engagement where required)
Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 per annum Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience.

About the Role
As a Hybrid Tutor Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting learners to achieve their qualifications while developing the confidence, behaviours, and employability skills required for the workplace.

You will plan, deliver, and assess engaging learning programmes, ensuring learners develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to meet curriculum learning outcomes. Using a learner-centred approach, you will motivate, coach, and inspire individuals from diverse backgrounds to achieve their goals and progress into further education, training, or employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment for Level 2 and Level 3 programmes.
- Plan engaging and effective learning sessions that meet curriculum objectives.
- Assess learner competence and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
- Monitor learner achievement and maintain accurate assessment records.
- Support learners in developing employability and essential soft skills.
- Encourage learner engagement, retention, and successful completion of programmes.
- Maintain compliance with awarding organisation and quality assurance requirements.
- Provide pastoral support and signpost learners to additional services where required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve positive learner outcomes.
- Embed safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion into all aspects of delivery.

About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and learner-focused professional who is passionate about making a difference.
You will possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational, planning, and time-management abilities.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Confidence in decision-making and problem-solving.
- A self-motivated and proactive attitude.
- Good IT and digital literacy skills, including the ability to deliver online learning effectively.
Essential Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold:
- Level 3 Assessor Qualification (A1 or equivalent).
- Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Current Safeguarding Certificate.
- Relevant occupational competency and experience within the subject area being delivered.
