Digital Business Change Manager – Permanent, Full Time, Flexible First
Base Location: Perth, Glasgow, Aberdeen, or Inverness (50% working week)

- Salary: £50,100 – £75,100 (depending on skills and experience)

About the Role
As a Digital Business Change Manager, you’ll bridge the gap between operational teams and digital delivery, driving high-impact improvements through:
- Strategy & Transformation Leadership
Align the business transformation roadmap with central Digital strategy in partnership with Renewables Digital.
- Articulate and maintain the roadmap, fostering innovation through pilots.
- Lead discovery and delivery processes, ensuring operational integration with Renewables Digital/IT.

Data-Driven Decision Making Assess current business data and process maturity, identifying priority use cases and guiding prioritisation.
- Leverage governed data, advanced analytics, and real-time dashboards (e.g., Power BI/Tableau) to support operational intelligence.
- Assess feasibility of IoT, digital twins, and ML to deliver value.

Stakeholder & Change Management Engage with multidisciplinary stakeholders to drive adoption of new digital solutions.
- Demonstrated ability in strategy deployment, demand prioritization, and change leadership through formal governance.
Key Accountabilities
- Apply deep knowledge of asset technology, operating models, and lifecycle management to shape digital initiatives.
- Provide subject-matter expertise alongside operational access for innovation pilots, ensuring security and proper onboarding.
- Collaborate closely with Renewables Digital and IT teams to shape demand and build compelling business cases.
- Maintain oversight of value assessment processes, ensuring high-quality, actionable insights.
- Ensure continuous improvement by embedding digital adoption and innovation into business operations.

Requirements
To succeed, you should have:
- Deep technical knowledge of operational technologies (e.g., SCADA, condition monitoring, work management systems).
- Proven experience in digital transformation within energy, utilities, or asset-intensive industries.
- Strong understanding of analytical and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL/Python at user level).
- Expertise in solution feasibility assessments, portfolio prioritization, and stakeholder governance.
- Awareness of emerging digital trends (e.g., IoT, digital twins, machine learning) and their operational implications.
