Their Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) facility in Marston Green is a £300m+ turnover operation employing over 300 staff. The team specialises in technical support for:
- Electronic Engine Control
- Fuel Metering Units
- Actuators & Pump Units
The Role – Hydro-Mechanical Technician
Responsible for supporting continued growth in a dynamic environment, this role focuses on the assembly, testing and refurbishment of hydro-mechanical & electronic components across the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities

- Dismantle, evaluate, reassemble and test electronic engine control systems in compliance with customer, design, and quality procedures
- Meet turnaround time and output targets by efficiently processing tasks, ensuring product compliance and meeting release schedules
- Apply quality assurance techniques, keeping both individuals and the team aligned with high standards
- Actively participate in CORE (Continuous Operational Review Efficiency) and continuous improvement initiatives
- Train and assist colleagues to enhance team development and expertise
- Maintain control processes such as visual management boards, IT systems, and planning schedules

Preferred Skills & Experience
Required:
- Experience with electric/mechanical components, with electronics-related certification (e.g. HNC/D in Electronics Engineering)
- Experience in a high-tech electronics engineering environment
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Strong team player, thriving under collaborative pressure
- Ability to operate on night shift (schedule flexibility essential)
