  • Electronic Engine Control
  • Fuel Metering Units
  • Actuators & Pump Units

The Role – Hydro-Mechanical Technician

Responsible for supporting continued growth in a dynamic environment, this role focuses on the assembly, testing and refurbishment of hydro-mechanical & electronic components across the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dismantle, evaluate, reassemble and test electronic engine control systems in compliance with customer, design, and quality procedures
  • Meet turnaround time and output targets by efficiently processing tasks, ensuring product compliance and meeting release schedules
  • Apply quality assurance techniques, keeping both individuals and the team aligned with high standards
  • Actively participate in CORE (Continuous Operational Review Efficiency) and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train and assist colleagues to enhance team development and expertise
  • Maintain control processes such as visual management boards, IT systems, and planning schedules

Preferred Skills & Experience

Required:

  • Experience with electric/mechanical components, with electronics-related certification (e.g. HNC/D in Electronics Engineering)
  • Experience in a high-tech electronics engineering environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Strong team player, thriving under collaborative pressure
  • Ability to operate on night shift (schedule flexibility essential)
