About Pegasus International

Pegasus International (UK) Ltd. is expanding its multidisciplinary LNG and infrastructure advisory team. We are seeking highly experienced professionals for immediate engagement on a major LNG Terminal Project covering feasibility, FEED, technical assurance, commercial and PPP advisory, environmental and social safeguards, procurement, project controls, and transaction execution.

The Opportunity

Lead hydrological, oceanographic, and metocean data validation and analysis for marine operability, jetty design, drainage, flood resilience, coastal processes, and climate adaptation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review available wind, wave, current, tide, surge, rainfall, river, and water-level datasets for quality and currency.
  • Define supplementary measurements, hindcast modelling, or return-period analyses where data gaps exist.
  • Establish design environmental conditions for normal operation, extreme events, and accidental scenarios.
  • Support wave transformation, current, sedimentation, dredging, shoreline, and marine operability studies.
  • Assess storm surge, river flooding, intense rainfall, drainage outfalls, sea-level rise, and climate-change allowances.
  • Provide inputs to jetty, loading-arm, mooring, structural, flood-protection, and emergency-response design.
  • Prepare metocean design criteria, technical reports, uncertainty assessments, and risk recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Oceanography, Coastal Engineering, Hydrology, Marine Science, or a related discipline; postgraduate degree is preferred.
  • Professional registration is desirable for engineering candidates.
  • Experience with numerical modelling and statistical extreme-value analysis is required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
