- Working Hours: 18:00 β 06:00
- Hourly Rate: Β£15.97 per hour
- Annual Salary: Β£33,425.21

At Vitacress Salads, we're looking for a Hygiene Operative to help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene across our production facility.

π§ What You'll Be Doing
As a Hygiene Operative, you will:
- Clean factory machinery, equipment, and production areas to a high standard
- Follow cleaning procedures and Hygiene Cleaning Instruction Cards (CICs)
- Ensure hygiene, food safety, and microbiological standards are maintained
- Support hygiene audits and respond to non-conformances when required
- Report equipment faults, safety concerns, or damage identified during cleaning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily operational targets
- Support and guide new team members when required
- Promote a safe working environment while adhering to all company policies

π What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and committed

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Willing to learn and follow procedures
- Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties
Previous hygiene or food production experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
π Working Environment
Please be aware that this role involves:
- Working in a chilled production environment
- Working in wet conditions
- Using cleaning chemicals safely
- Wearing hygiene PPE
- Using long and sometimes heavy hoses and cleaning equipment
- Standing and moving for extended periods
