Hygiene Manager
My client, a successful food manufacturer based in the Staffordshire area, is seeking an experienced Hygiene Manager/Supervisor due to continued business expansion.
You will:
- Lead the Hygiene team and ensure the hygiene function operates smoothly on site.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
- Training of hygiene staff
- Driving efficiencies and continuous improvement
- Managing the audit schedule
- Co-ordinating with chemical and product suppliers
- Showing a keen interest in ordering new equipment to improve operational efficiency
- Co-ordinating machinery strip-down and deep cleaning
- Holding budgetary responsibility

Skills and Experience
- Level 3 Food Safety & Health & Safety qualification
- Experience in high-risk, high-care environments
- Proven track record in hygiene leadership
- Experience conducting internal and third-party audits
- Ability to manage a team, set, and report KPIs
- Essential: food manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in disassembling and reassembling machinery
- Strong communication and organisation skills

Role Details
- Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30 PM – 6 AM
- Benefits: Pension, career development and progression
