Join Our Hygiene Team and Help Maintain the Highest Standards of Cleanliness Across Our Site.
The Role
As part of our Hygiene team on the afternoon shift, you will play a key role in keeping our factory equipment and environment clean and compliant. Working closely with production, technical, and engineering departments, you will help maintain company and customer standards while identifying improvements where possible.
Shift: 2-10pm
£13.19 per hour
Your Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining factory equipment and the wider environment to a high degree of cleanliness in line with company and customer codes of practice
- Working closely with production, technical, and engineering departments to consistently uphold hygiene standards
- Ensuring High Risk, Low Risk, and outside areas are all maintained to the required standard
- Ensuring all equipment returned to production is food and safety compliant
- Refilling chemical and consumable dispensers to appropriate levels
- Maintaining Clean As You Go (CAYG) across all areas at all times
- Identifying and incorporating improvements where applicable
- Completing all relevant departmental documentation accurately

The Ideal Candidate
- A good understanding of cleaning chemicals, their uses, and COSHH requirements
- Familiar with cleaning systems, schedules, and procedures in a factory environment
- A basic understanding of food microbiology
- Comfortable with health and safety procedures and documentation requirements
- A strong team player who builds good working relationships across departments
- Organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards
