We are currently recruiting for Hygiene Operatives at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
As a Hygiene Operative you will work across the factory packhouse carrying out all hygiene duties from cleaning the site canteen facilities to cleaning down packing machinery, production lines, white walling, etc.
Shift & Hours of Work:
4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift pattern, working 6am to 6pm

Salary:
£12.79 per hour
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitation of production areas, machinery, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Utilize cleaning tools safely and effectively, following company procedures and safety guidelines
- Document cleaning activities and maintain accurate records of hygiene compliance checks
- Identify and report maintenance needs or safety hazards observed during cleaning processes
- Collaborate with production team members to support an efficient and hygienic working environment
- Follow all company policies and legal regulations regarding health, safety, and environmental standards
Requirements
- Experience in a hygiene or cleaning role, preferably within the food industry
- Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to cleaning operations
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to strict cleaning protocols
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, which may involve lifting and standing for prolonged periods
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and standards
