We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative / Line Cleaner to join a busy food manufacturing operation in King's Lynn on a temporary basis until December 2026.

Shift: Monday to Friday 6-2/2-10 rotating weekly

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and workplace organisation. Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring production lines, machinery, and work areas are kept clean, safe, and operating efficiently at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and hygienic production environment
  • Ensure production lines and surrounding work areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Keep floors dry and safe at all times
  • Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and company procedures
  • Carry out cleaning duties on equipment, machinery, and production areas
  • Complete quality checks and associated documentation accurately
  • Report any safety, quality, or maintenance concerns promptly
  • Support food safety and hygiene standards across the department
  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
  • Assist in maintaining a culture of continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a hygiene, cleaning, manufacturing, or food production environment is advantageous
  • Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Practical and hands-on approach to work
  • Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and undertake further training
