Hygiene Operative – South Quay, Grimsby

Summary

Join our Hygiene team at South Quay and grow your knowledge and skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

The Role

We are recruiting Hygiene Operatives to support our 68-hour cleaning schedule. You will carry out assigned duties, following trained methodology to safely achieve the appropriate hygiene standards across the production area.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 22:00–06:00

Salary

£14.58 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion clean-as-you-go practices and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in your assigned area.
  • Carry out machinery hygiene checks in accordance with company protocols.
  • Complete all tasks outlined on the task allocation sheet to the agreed standard.
  • Maintain high hygiene standards and actively participate in hygiene and food safety audits.
  • Ensure uniforms and PPE are clean, well maintained, and worn at all times.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness of toilet areas, canteen, and locker rooms.

  • Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent.
  • Awareness of chemicals and COSHH regulations.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety essentials.
