Join our Hygiene Team as a Night Hygiene Operator at Pilgrim’s Europe in Redruth
This role plays a vital part in keeping our production and packing areas clean, safe, and compliant with food safety and hygiene standards. You will be responsible for cleaning production equipment and factory areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality are maintained at all times.
Earn Big: Competitive hourly rate, with the potential to earn over £600 per week!
Balanced Schedule: We have a shift pattern of 22.00 pm - 6.00 am Monday to Friday, offering regular rest days and a predictable rota.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean production and packing areas to required hygiene standards
- Strip down, clean and reassemble machinery and equipment
- Operate high-pressure water guns and cleaning systems
- Use cleaning chemicals safely and at correct concentrations
- Wash floors, corridors, sinks, hand dryers and general factory areas
- Empty waste containers and operate skip compactors
- Transport and wash stillages, dolavs and racks
- Refill soap and towel dispensers
- Dispose of waste correctly and maintain tidy work areas
- Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH procedures
- Work as part of a team and support production handovers

Skills & Experience
- Good general health and fitness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Practical, hands-on approach to work
- Basic Health & Safety awareness
- Previous factory or industrial cleaning experience (advantage but not essential)
- Willingness to learn and be trained
