About the Role
We are looking to recruit an Operator within our Hygiene department who will play a key role in maintaining an efficient running of production lines at Redruth site. If you are looking for an exciting career, we would like to hear from you!
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday 06:00am - 15:00pm
Salary
Competitive hourly rate, with the potential to earn over £540 per week!
Responsibilities
You will be required to undertake the following (this is not an Exhaustive List):
- Set up, changeover and operate machinery and other equipment in the area within standard operating procedures to achieve required outputs and quality
- Carry out a range of manual tasks and activities and ensure all tasks are finished within permitted time frames
- Check and monitor processes making recommendations for any adjustments necessary to achieve product and process specifications
- To collect and issue PPE and clothing when needed
- Operate the washing machine to clean specified production equipment following the correct procedures
- Operate high pressure water guns for cleaning operations
- Place roll top waste bins on each line and empty as required
- Wash and clean floors in all areas of the Factory as necessary
- Transport stillages, dolavs and racks to wash bay from packing halls and Pressing area as necessary for cleaning and return to appropriate departments
- Empty waste containers from production departments as necessary
- Refill soap and towel containers in packing and production areas

- General good health and fitness
- Previous factory cleaning experience an advantage
- Ability to work independently
- Practical/manual handling skills
- Basic H&S awareness
- Knowledge of COSHH
