Rentokil Specialist Hygiene Technician – Croydon
About the Role
Join our team and make a difference! We are currently seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join Rentokil at our Croydon branch, covering the South West and South East London.
No prior experience is required—we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training.

- Base salary: £26,655 per annum
- Yearly allowance: £2,000
- Expected OTE: £35,000+ per annum (including bonus and commission)

The Role
As a Specialist Hygiene Technician, you will provide a range of high-caliber hygiene cleaning services across various environments, including:
- Biohazard cleaning
- Flood water damage clean-up
- Infection control
- Police, prison & cell cleaning
- Sharps removals
- Trauma & crime scene cleaning
- Technical cleans (factories, high-level, silos) – all with full training
Key Responsibilities
- Work reactively in a fast-paced environment with changing weekly tasks
- Operate under an on-call rota (paid at an enhanced rate)
- Provide customer advice & exceptional service while maintaining a professional image
- Flexibility to meet business demands & working patterns
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
What We Are Looking For
Essential Criteria
- Full, clean UK driving licence (held for >2 years, with ≤6 penalty points)
- Self-motivated, reliable & proactive attitude
- Strong communication & customer service skills
- No prior experience required (training provided!)
