About the Role
Join our team and make a positive impact as a Specialist Hygiene Technician based at our Croydon branch, covering the South West and South East London. No prior experience is required—we provide comprehensive industry-leading training to set you up for success. If you enjoy managing your own schedule and solving unique challenges for customers in person, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Full urban and technical hygiene training (biohazard cleanup, crime/accident scene restoration, industrial/factory cleaning, etc.)
The Hygiene Technician Role
As a Specialist Hygiene Technician, you’ll provide highly technical cleaning services across diverse environments:
- Biohazard & accident cleanup (flood damage, bloodborne pathogans)
- Infection/microbial control (commercial, healthcare)
- Police & prison incidents (cell and facility decontamination)
- Sharps deactivation & dispose-processing
- Technical/construction areas (high-level machinery, silos, confined spaces)

Key Responsibilities
- Work reactively in a dynamic, ever-changing schedule
- Complete on-call rotations (paid at an enhanced hourly rate)
- Advise and consult with customers on hygiene needs
- deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism
Requirements
Essential:
- Full & valid UK driving licence held for >2 years (max 6 penalty points)
- Strong self-motivation, reliability, and proactiveness
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing demands
- Height & confined-space accessibility (training provided)
Roles requiring clearing: Possible DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check
