Rentokil Specialist Hygiene Technician

We are currently seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our dedicated team at the Bristol branch, covering the Plymouth, Exeter and surrounding areas. No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. If you enjoy managing your own schedule and solving unique customer problems in person, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

- Starting salary: £26,655 per annum
- Expected OTE (On-Target Earnings): £30,000–£38,000 per annum, including bonuses, commission schemes, and financial incentives.

The Specialist Hygiene Technician Role
As a Specialist Hygiene Technician, you will provide a range of professional hygiene and cleaning services across diverse environments, including:
- Biohazard and trauma cleaning
- Flood water damage remediation
- Infection control
- Police, prison cell and legal premises cleaning
- Sharps removal and toxic substance handling
- Advanced technical cleaning, such as:
- Factory cleans
- High-level cleaning and silo maintenance
- Full training provided on-the-job

Key Responsibilities
- Work reactively in a fast-paced environment with weekly workload variations
- Participate in an on-call rota (twice a quarter on average)
- Provide expert advice and solutions to customers
- Maintain exceptional customer service with a consistent professional conduct
- Operate safely in all conditions while upholding company quality standards
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years
- No more than six penalty points since obtaining the licence
- Self-motivated, reliable and highly proactive
- Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt working patterns as business needs arise
- Capable of working at heights and confined spaces
- Ability to handle rigorous and evolving tailored hygiene situations
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check where applicable
