Rentokil Specialist Hygiene Technician – Croydon (South West & South East London)

We are seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our team at the Croydon branch, covering the South West and South East London. No prior experience required—we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training!

- Basic Salary: £26,655 per annum
- Yearly Allowance: £2,000 (total starting salary: £28,655)
- Expected OTE (On-Target Earnings): £35,000+ (including bonus and commission schemes)

The Hygiene Technician Role
As a Specialist Hygiene Technician, you’ll deliver a wide range of high-standard cleaning services, including:

- Biohazard & Crime Scene Cleaning
- Flood Water Damage Restoration
- Sharps Removal & Infection Control
- Police & Prison Cell Disinfection
- Technical Cleaning (e.g., Factory, High-Level, Silo Cleaning)
Key Responsibilities
✔ Dynamic & Reactive Work – Fast-paced schedule with weekly changes ✔ On-Call Rota (Paid at Enhanced Rate) – Ensuring round-the-clock coverage ✔ Customer Consultancy – Providing expert advice and service ✔ Exceptional Customer Experience – Maintaining professionalism in all interactions
Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Full UK Driving Licence (held for > 2 years, ≤ 6 penalty points)
- Self-Motivated & Proactive – Ability to work independently
- Strong Customer Service Skills – Reliable, communicative, and adaptable
- Flexibility – Willing to accommodate varying work patterns
- Physical Capabilities – Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Check Required (role-dependent)
(Training provided for all technical expertise!)
