Rentokil Specialist Hygiene Technician
About the Role
Join our team and make a difference! We are currently seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our dedicated team at the Croydon branch, covering the South West and South East London.
No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. This role is perfect for you if you enjoy:

- Basic salary starts at £26,655 per annum
- Plus £2,000 yearly allowance
- Expected OTE (On-Target Earnings) of £35,000 and above per annum

As a Specialist Hygiene Technician, you will provide a range of specialised hygiene cleaning services in various environments and premises, including:

- Biohazard cleaning
- Flood water damage clean-up
- Infection and crime/waste site and trauma scene cleaning
- Police and prison cell cleaning
- Sharps removals

This includes:
- Factory cleans
- High-level cleans
- Silo cleaning
Key Responsibilities:
- Work reactively in a fast-paced business environment where tasks can change weekly
- Participate in an on-call rota (offering a paid enhanced rate)
- Provide value-added advice to clients and customers
- Ensure exceptional customer service and professional image at all times
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years
- No more than six penalty points allowed
- Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive team player
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly according to business needs
- Physical capability to handle work at heights and in confined spaces
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (depending on the specific role applied for)
