Rentokil Specialist Hygiene Technician

We are currently seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our dedicated team at the Bristol branch, covering the Plymouth, Exeter and surrounding areas.
No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. If you enjoy managing your own schedule and solving unique customer problems in person, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Specialist Hygiene Technician Role
In this reactive and fast-paced role, you will provide highly specialised hygiene services, including:
- Biohazard cleaning
- Flood/water damage restoration
- Infection control
- Police and prison cell decontamination
- Sharps removals, trauma and crime scene cleaning
- Technical cleans (factories, high-level, silo maintenance)

Key Responsibilities:
- Adapt to changing workloads on a weekly basis
- Participate in an on-call rota (typically 2 shifts per quarter)
- Offer customer advice and build strong relationships
- Deliver exceptional service with professionalism
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance across sensitive environments
Specialist Hygiene Technician Requirements
To excel in this role, you should:
- Hold a valid UK driving licence for more than 2 years with no more than six penalty points
- Be self-motivated, reliable, and proactive
- Possess excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate flexibility to meet business needs
- Be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and physically demanding conditions
- A DBS check may be required depending on your role
