Rentokil Specialist Hygiene Technician
About the Role
Join our team and make a difference! We are currently seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our dedicated team at the Croydon branch, covering the South West and South East London.
No prior experience required, as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. This role suits those who enjoy managing their own schedule and solving unique customer problems in person.

Key Responsibilities
The Hygiene Technician will deliver a range of advanced cleaning and hygiene services, including:
- Biohazard cleaning
- Flood and water damage mitigation
- Infection control and disinfection
- Police, prison, and sensitive criminal scene cleaning
- Sharps removal
- Trauma and crime scene restoration
- Technical cleaning (factories, high-level, and confined spaces)
Core Responsibilities:
- Work reactively in a fast-paced environment with weekly task variations
- Operate within on-call rota obligations (paid at an enhanced rate)
- Provide customer advice while delivering high standards of service
- Maintain a professional image and excellent customer relations
- Follow safety regulations, including working at heights and confined spaces
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (held for 2+ years) with no more than 6 penalty points
- Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive mindset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes
- DBS check may be required depending on assignment
