Rentokil Specialist Hygiene Technician – South West & South East London
About the Role
Join our dedicated team at the Croydon branch, covering South West and South East London. No prior experience required—we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. If you enjoy managing your own schedule and delivering tailored customer solutions in person, this could be the role for you!

The Hygiene Technician Role
You’ll provide premium hygiene cleaning services across diverse environments, including:
Core Responsibilities
- Biohazard & trauma cleaning (crime scenes, flood damage remediation)
- Infection control & medical facility cleaning (hospitals, dental practices)
- Police/prison cell deep cleans
- Sharps removal & hazardous waste disposal
- Technical cleaning (factories, high-level cleaning, silo maintenance)
- Police/prison cell cleaning
- Reactively managing fast-paced workloads (weekly changes common)
- On-call rota support (paid at an enhanced rate)
- Delivering exceptional customer service with proactive problem-solving
- Maintaining a professional brand presence
Essential Skills & Attributes
- Self-motivated, proactive, and reliable
- Excellent verbal/written communication + strong customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence (held for ≥2 years) with no more than 6 penalty points
- Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces
- DBS check may be required (dependent on specific role)
