We have an exciting opportunity for a Hygiene Supervisor in New World Foods (part of Kepak Group) in Wigan. This is a full time, permanent position reporting to the Quality & Hygiene Manager. In this exciting and team-oriented role, you'll be essential in maintaining our high standards and ensuring that company KPIs and hygiene targets are met consistently. You'll also play a key part in executing our health and safety protocols while fostering a robust food safety culture within our organization. Hours: Monday - Friday 10pm-6am - please note flexibility is required Key Responsibilities Enhancing hygiene protocols: Continuously assess and improve cleanliness standards across the site. Task delegation: Effectively assign and supervise responsibilities within the hygiene team. Adherence to schedule: Follow the cleaning schedule rigorously and report deviations to the Quality & Hygiene Manager. Routine swabbing: Conduct regular swabbing to evaluate cleaning effectiveness. Post-clean inspections: Perform inspections after cleaning to ensure standards are met. New team training: Train new members on hygiene protocols and procedures. Equipment checks: Regularly inspect hygiene equipment for safety compliance. Audit readiness: Prepare for audits by ensuring hygiene standards and documentation are meticulously maintained. Previous experience in a similar role in hygiene ideally within a food manufacturing environment Effective communication skills, written and orally, at all levels within the business. Completed a COSHH & HACCP certification minimum level 2 Ideally a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certification What can we offer you?
