Hygiene Team Leader
About The Role
Cleaning Supervisor – 4 on 4 off shifts (6am–6pm)
At OCS, our cleaners are integral to creating safe, clean environments that help our customers thrive in their workspaces. As Supervisor, you will lead a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring they perform their duties efficiently while maintaining high cleanliness standards and contributing to a safe, hygienic workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a small team, including:
- Overseeing rotas, holidays, and performance
- Ensuring all cleaning operatives receive training and having records updated correctly
- Conducting weekly cleaning audits and escalating any areas of concern
- Upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
- Operating heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals, and occasionally working at heights

Requirements
Candidates must:
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
- Possess excellent communication skills
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a supervisory/managerial role
- A background in cleaning or food manufacturing
- Willingness to work at height
- COSHH or IOSH training (desirable)
