Hygiene Team Leader

About The Role

Cleaning Supervisor – 4 on 4 off shifts (6am–6pm)

At OCS, our cleaners are integral to creating safe, clean environments that help our customers thrive in their workspaces. As Supervisor, you will lead a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring they perform their duties efficiently while maintaining high cleanliness standards and contributing to a safe, hygienic workspace.


Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a small team, including:
    • Overseeing rotas, holidays, and performance
    • Ensuring all cleaning operatives receive training and having records updated correctly
  • Conducting weekly cleaning audits and escalating any areas of concern
  • Upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
  • Operating heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals, and occasionally working at heights

Requirements

Candidates must:

  • Have the Right to Work in the UK
  • Possess excellent communication skills

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory/managerial role
  • A background in cleaning or food manufacturing
  • Willingness to work at height
  • COSHH or IOSH training (desirable)
