We are currently recruiting for Hygiene Team Leader at our new chilled potato product packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Shift & Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday - Fixed Shift, working 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the hygiene team, delegating tasks and monitoring the execution of cleaning schedules
- Conduct thorough inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with hygiene standards and identify areas for improvement
- Provide training and support to hygiene staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable in best practices and safety protocols
- Coordinate with management to arrange cleaning schedules that align with production needs
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, audits, and compliance to provide thorough reports to management
- Ensure stock levels of cleaning supplies are managed effectively, reordering as necessary to maintain operations
- Foster a culture of hygiene awareness and safety within the team
- Participate in meetings focused on continuous improvement initiatives concerning hygiene practices

Requirements
- Proven experience in a hygiene or cleaning leadership role within a food production environment
- In-depth knowledge of hygiene standards and health and safety regulations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively
- Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills for effective interactions with staff at various levels
- Keen attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude
