About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hygienist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Completing all daily cleaning procedures as listed in washer area cleaning schedule
  • Cleaning of 2 grader lanes each evening
  • Ensure floor area and grids under washers are cleaned removing all potatoes
  • Ensure all chemicals are used under COSHH regulations and all chemicals and equipment are stored neatly and hygienically in the correct storage cupboards
  • Responsible for completing all paperwork on a daily basis, reporting any issues or damage found when cleaning to leaders

What are we looking for?

  • Experience of working within a factory environment
  • Previous hygiene experience is desirable
  • Understanding of Health and Safety policies in the workplace
  • The ability to work quickly and methodically
  • Good team working skills
  • The ability to follow instructions
  • Willing to take any training required for this role
  • Food Safety Level 1 or equivalent - Desirable
  • COSHH certification - Desirable
