About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hygienist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Completing all daily cleaning procedures as listed in washer area cleaning schedule
- Cleaning of 2 grader lanes each evening
- Ensure floor area and grids under washers are cleaned removing all potatoes
- Ensure all chemicals are used under COSHH regulations and all chemicals and equipment are stored neatly and hygienically in the correct storage cupboards
- Responsible for completing all paperwork on a daily basis, reporting any issues or damage found when cleaning to leaders
What are we looking for?
- Experience of working within a factory environment
- Previous hygiene experience is desirable
- Understanding of Health and Safety policies in the workplace
- The ability to work quickly and methodically
- Good team working skills
- The ability to follow instructions
- Willing to take any training required for this role
- Food Safety Level 1 or equivalent - Desirable
- COSHH certification - Desirable
